Dorris Place is honored to participate in the Olympian/Paralympian Athlete Mentor Program for 5th grade students.
Olympian Kim Glass will partner with Dorris Place and our Physical Education coach, Mr. Quiñónez to lead physical activities that will prepare our 5th grade students for the 2023 California Fitness Test and promote healthy habits. Olympian Glass visited 5th grade classrooms on December 7th to share her inspirational story discuss self-efficacy and believing in yourself. We look forward to this continued partnership in 2023!
